Abgx360 Gui Guide Version 1.0.5 RD 12/06/2010

This tutorial will help you stealth check the x360 games offline/online using Abgx360 download here. Note: The GUI has not been changed and will still display version 1.0.2, don't worry about it as long as the CLI app displays v1.0.5 To Download this Guide in PDF format click here goto File>>Download as>> PDF

Please note that Abgx360 needs to go out to the internet to retrieve the latest stealth files for your games, and it will update your local (DB DataBase) accordingly it's a good idea to run this Verification Process while you are connected to the internet!

Note: I don't recommend connecting to online when running Abgx360 Disable your Network Connection goto Start Button Run type ncpa.cpl hit enter and disable your connection. You don't need to be connected to the internet when making backups of your Originals and verifying them your self after making two copy's using Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom360 Xtract.

!!!!New AP25 games should be ran through ABGX360 because 0800 firmware can't extract SSv3!!!!

I Personally don't use Abgx360 anymore just off/on I backup with S360X or XBCr Stealth Check with S360X and if Not verified by Stealth Team I Save the first CRC32 ini to there DateBase witch is all Offline and Rip a Second copy then compare them my self and not have Abgx360 inject something that ant from the Original, Read my Schtrom360 Xtract S360X v4.1 Guide in Xbox360 Archive and Commodore4eva Explains Stealth Media for more info.

Why Abgx360 is saying Kreon Drives are Good Under "Quickstart" in Abgx360 is because the DataBase always get updated with new info from other people uploading and verifying with copy's made from someone else that got saved this can get Crazy! If your suck with a kreon drive I recommend you try getting a x360 drive, I can see future games been more of a problem with kreon drives and Fixing your iso image as they are now!

Open Abgx360 - Click on the "Options" Tab and make sure you check the options "Check for AnyDVD style game data Corruption" - "Disable all online Functions" - "Check Game Partition CRC when needed" - "Disable Writes" - "Uncheck Verify if Stealth Passes" and "Program Output to HTML." The 3 highlighted in green (have it Checked as in the picture) - leave all other settings at "defaults" besides the ones listed above.

AnyDVD is an app that runs in the background to remove DVD video protections on the fly. This is a nice feature when playing or ripping protected DVD movies but it causes problems when ripping Xbox 360 games because the video data (and possibly game data) will be altered in a way that is detectable.

Now click on the "AutoFix" Tab and make sure to set the AutoFix Threshold to "Level 0" and "Check Trust SS v2 angles" leave all other settings at "defaults" as per image below... DON'T USE Threshold: level - 2 or 3 unless it's a AP25 game or you just want to Verify, read Verification failed! at the end of this Guide for more information. Tip v1.0.2 they removed "Look for verified files in the local folder only (applies to AutoFix and Verification)" and added "Check Trust SS v2 angles" Hover your mouse over the Blue dot beside it for more information in the "AutoFix" Tab.

Note: The default settings are not recommended for people that have Original games, although you may change any settings and press Ctrl+S to save them as the new defaults or save them with a different name so that they can be loaded at any time by pressing Ctrl+L and selecting them. To delete any of your saved settings press Ctrl+D and select the ones you want to delete.

Then click on "Misc" Tab and select Your Console's Region Code: Mine is NTSC/U so it's 000000FF or enter 000000FF using your Keyboard, leave SplitVid: and Images "Default." Tip v1.0.2 added PayPal Donate and "Preferred Language" Hover your mouse over the Blue dot beside it for more information. When using HTML "Program Output" Images will be extracted to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\abgx360\Images or you can Embed them in HTML aka Achievements Cool. v1.0.2 Added option to embed images in the HTML source code as data URIs for better portability (when using HTML output). Can't fine the Application data Folder goto "Start" click "Run" type "Application data" hit enter, also enable "Show hidden files and folders" goto "Start" click "Run" type "control folders" then click on "View Tab"

Now storing data files in the AppData folder to prevent errors related to permissions and UAC. You can open the GUI and hit Ctrl+F to find out where your StealthFiles are now stored and optionally have it opened for you. abgx360 will still check for Video ISOs in the old install directory first though, so you don't need to move that 3rd Wave Video ISO if you have it saved there already. For more information I highly Recommended Reading the "Quick Start Tab - Welcome!" and hovering your mouse all over the blue dots.

Then goto (File Tab - Save Settings, or Press Ctrl+S) to Save it Leave the name as "Default" if you plan to just use one Profile Setting hit OK.., Settings have now been changed and you will no longer have to modify each time you run Abgx360 just change your Profile. I use two Profile Settings

1. "AutoFix Threshold: level - 0 Do Not AutoFix" with "Disable Writes Checked" so noting downloads from there DB, it's just a Stealth check and AnyDVD style game data Corruption also "Verify if Stealth Passes Unchecked " - "Disable all online Functions" - "Check Game Partition CRC when needed" - "Embed them in HTML Checked to see my Achievements" and my Region selected with "Program Output" to HTML and leaving everything else at "defaults."

2. "AutoFix Threshold: level - 0 Do Not AutoFix" with "Disable Writes Checked" so noting downloads from there DB, it's just a Stealth check and AnyDVD style game data Corruption also "Verify if Stealth Passes Unchecked " - "Disable all online Functions" - "Check Game Partition CRC when needed" and my Region selected with "Program Output" to CLI Window and leaving everything else at "defaults."

Note: "Stealth is uncertain and fails Verification" If Stealth check passed! and Verification failed you don't need to connect to abgx360. Just verify the HTML files in your browser after you ripped the Game twice from the Original using Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom read Verification failed! at the end of this Guide.

Note: Select "Disable Writes" if you just want to check the ISO without automatically fixing it, I did so but (GameNameLookup.csv) trys to Download something Disable your Network Connection goto Start Button Run type ncpa.cpl hit enter and disable your connection. The .dvd file is automatically created if it doesn't exist or fixed if it's invalid unless you disabled "Check/Create.dvd file" that's under the "Options" Tab or selected "Disable Writes", the .dvd file is created by Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom Automatic.

Now Open your file in Abgx360 (from the File Tab - Open Input or Ctrl+O), v1.0.2 Added drag & drop support for the GUI Input panel, browse to your Image file you created using Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom in the Ripping phase... For more information Read my Xbox Backup Creator Guide and Schtrom360 Xtract S360X Guide in Xbox360 Archive

Now in "Program Output" - "Check open file when done" click on the Launch Button at the bottom ^^^ Another Window will Pop Up - This is where you leave Abgx360 to work it's magic and check your game correctly so you don't encounter any problems on iXtreme Firmware - Please be patient while it goes ahead and does what it needs to...

.....Once abgx360 has completed it's verification process, please confirm your window reads the same as the screen shot above. You should get the following 2 messages which I have outlined in green above....

1) Stealth Check Passed!
2) AnyDVD style corruption was not found.

This confirms your image is safe to play on iXtreme Firmware, Once all OK - Please close out of the window, and also out of ABGX360 then Burn Using Xbox Backup Creator or Imgburn.

Verification failed!

This is because of the .ini files they have in there (DB DataBase) Hover your mouse over the Blue dot beside (Verify if Stealth Passes under the Options Tab) if your DMI or anything else fails you can Verify the (DMI, PFI and Video)by putting the "Program Output" to HTML, then verifying the HTML files in your browser after you ripped the Game twice from the Original using Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom. For more information on (DMI, PFI and Video) head over to forums.xbox-scene.com read the fourth post and Rules before Posting anything that's why this is here.

Then compare them, you can Ignore the RawSS witch will be different every time for more information hover your mouse over the Blue dot beside (Verify if Stealth Passes under the Options Tab) and hover over the Blue dot beside (AutoFix Threshold: settings under "AutoFix" Tab) in Abgx360 witch will give you a bit more understanding about Raw SS and AutoFix. To me the AutoFix Threshold: Level 2 and 3 are for Pirate's that Download game's from the internet, so if you know that it's %100 from the Original and you compared them your self there is no reason to use AutoFix Threshold: Level 1, 2 or 3 because it will Download or Fix the .ini from there (DB DataBase) (GameNameLookup.csv) and replace your Original with something else from there (DB DataBase).

What it looks like with a Successful Verification witch you don't need to do if there from the Original and you compared them your self with "Program Output" to HTML, there is no reason to use (Verify if Stealth Passes under the Options Tab) First Backup of Borderlands and Everything came back Green witch will be deleted, I'm not Ripping my games twice that takes 1:30 mins to do and have something downloaded from someone else to change my games data that was from the Original don't go online when checking your game, if you see Checking for updates to GameNameLookup.csv Disable your Network Connection goto Start Button Run type ncpa.cpl hit enter and disable your connection. When Stealth Check Passed! AnyDVD style corruption was not found comes back Green it's safe to play on iXtreme Firmware. It just Got Easy To be Green!
